DOWNTOWN BUSINESSES - SCARECROWS AND TRICK OR TREAT!
If you plan on participating in either Trick or Treating, Teal Pumpkins and/or Scarecrow competition, please register below.
EVENT INFO
Get ready for a festive fall day at the 2023 Klamath Falls Scarecrow Row! This year's event promises a delightful lineup of activities that will run from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Join us in the heart of downtown Klamath Falls for some Spooktacular fun!
KFDA "Farmhouse" Booth (9th Street Central Square - near 9th & Main):
Our "farmhouse" booth will be the epicenter of the event, open from 10:15ish AM (after the parade down Main Street) onward.
Kids in costumes can drop by to:
Paint a Pumpkin: Let your creativity shine by decorating your very own pumpkin.
Build a Bird Feeder: Learn how to build a bird feeder with the Garden Club while supplies last.
Farmers' Market: Don't forget to explore the adjacent Farmers' Market, which will be in full swing from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Sample fresh, local produce and artisan goods while you're here.
Restrooms:
Restrooms, including accessible units, will be conveniently available for your comfort and convenience.
Downtown Business Treats:
Many downtown businesses will be offering tricks or treats during the event. Plus, keep an eye out for the charming scarecrows on display throughout the area. We encourage all attendees to embrace the Halloween spirit and enjoy everything downtown Klamath Falls has to offer!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Starting at 9:00am
- Farmers Market on 9th Street between Main & Klamath
- Main Street closed to Traffic. Line up for costume parade no later than 10:00am at 9th & Main Streets. All are welcome!
- Costume parade ends; trick or treating at downtown businesses (Main Street will be closed to traffic)
10:30am
- Scarecrow Walking Tour - Main, Klamath & Side Streets
- Walk around downtown and check out all the scarecrows. Winner will be announced on Oct 31st.
- KFDA will provide FREE pumpkins at 9th & Main Streets for children in attendance. Pumpkins can be painted at the event! (Thank you to Diamond Home Improvement and Sherm's Thunderbird Market!)
NOON
- MAIN STREET IS REOPENED TO TRAFFIC (All attendees must move off of Main Street) PLEASE EXIBIT PROPER PEDESTRIAN SAFETY!
1:00pm
- Event Ends for the year.
SAFETY/OTHER ITEMS
- Scarecrow Row attendees should be cautious at all times when crossing the street, leaving sidewalks, etc. Main Street will be closed from 10:00am-11:45am, but all other streets will be open for normal traffic.
- Parents should remain with their children at all times.
- Restrooms (including accessible units) will be available for public use at Farmers Market (9th & Main).
- Please make sure to keep downtown looking terrific! Waste receptacles are located generously on Main Street.
